MY ACCOUNT — DASHBOARD
The Dashboard contains primary account information such as payment history, past and present monthly statements, and order history.
- My Documents — contains the link to the Controlled Substance Questionnaire. This must be completed using the DEA license information of the doctor on file. In order to be approved to purchase controls First Veterinary Supply must have a copy of the doctor’s DEA license and, where applicable, a copy of the state Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) Certificate. To get those documents loaded, please contact the First Veterinary Supply sales representative assigned to the account at 800-998-4661.
- Credit Cards — add, change, and remove credit cards here. Before a CC can be added through the website, first add the billing address into the Addresses box. The web ordering system does not communicate with the sale’s representative’s ordering system, so a credit card does need to be added to both locations separately. For further assistance with adding a CC please call the credit department at 734-743-6050 or Web Support at 734-743-6382.
MY ACCOUNT — WATCH/FAVORITES LIST
FAVORITES & WATCH LIST
For items frequently used and ordered, a “Favorites” list can be created. To create a Favorites List, first click on the
Watch/Favorites List under the
My Account dropdown menu. On the left side of the page, select “
Create List” and give titles to the various lists to assist with more rapid reordering and organization. There are no pre-set titles; some common list titles include: Supplies, Surgical, Human Crossovers, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, etc. Multiple Favorites lists can be created to help as well. Adding an item to a “Favorites” list is simple, just click on the blue star icon next to an item and then choose the desired list selection.
If an item is “Out of Stock” or backordered, add the item “Watch Item”. This will send an email alert to the email address on file and to the sales rep assigned to the account notifying both customer and representative that the item has arrived back in stock.

For specific product information such as the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or product labels please use the SDS and Compendium links located in the Resources dropdown menu. Please see the infographics below that show where the links to both databases are located on the pages.

Quick Order
Use this feature to quickly add one, or more, items to the web cart if the six-digit First Veterinary Supply item number is known. Simply enter the item number in the space below Item # and the desired quantity.
COMPOUNDING & ORDERING FROM TAYLOR’S PHARMACY
| First Veterinary Supply partners with Taylor’s Pharmacy, based out of Florida, for compounding. Please register with Taylor’s Pharmacy’s TayloredRx to be able to view their menu and place orders. When you register, when asked “How did you hear about Taylors/TayloredRx” select “Another Company Referred Us” from the drop down menu and then type in your First Veterinary Supply sales representative, For example: “FVS — Jane Doe”. |

ORDERING RABIES TAGS
Rabies tags can be ordered online under
Shopping in the navigation bar. The current recommended tag will be bolded. Simply click on the highlighted tag and then follow the instructions on the page. Please be sure to read all the directions before completing the form to prevent any delay in the rabies tags order.
CSOS & CONTROLLED MEDICATIONS
| A CSOS certificate allows for the purchasing of Schedule II drugs electronically without the need of a paper 222 form. To register for a CSOS certificate please click “REGISTER NOW” in the Order CIIs with CSOS box on the right hand side of the First Veterinary Supply Home Page. |

The subsequent page, Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS), has all the information needed to obtain a CSOS Certificate, upload the certificate, and create a signing password for electronically signing CSOS orders.

There are many ways to search for specific items on the First Veterinary Supply website.
Less is always more when searching through the website. Most items can be found using just the first 3-4 letters or numbers in the search term, manufacturer number or NDC code — “SYR”; “SUT”; “MONO”; “SIMP”; “RIM”; “8881”.
For a more specific inquiry, some quick and easy techniques include searching by
- Medication Generic name — “Carprofen”; “Cephalexin”; “Ivermectin”
- Medication Brand/Trade name — “Rimadyl”; “Keflex”; “Simplicef”
- Manufacturer/Vendor name — “Monoject”; “Lloyd”; “Virbac”
